Cindy Hobbs Janecka is a Christian author and inspirational speaker whose passion is to cast a vision of hope for those walking through the trials and heartaches of life. As a licensed clinical social worker and marriage and family counselor for more than 26 years, Cindy has helped people work through difficulties in life and relationships, and she shares those same truths whether she is speaking to an individual or large audiences. Cindy’s story of her own journey brings a personal and powerful message of God’s presence and provision in times of pain and suffering. She shares her battle with cancer in her first book, This Can't Be Happening: A story of hope for those with cancer and those who love them. She also chronicles her family's journey through heartbreak and hope in her second book, My Heart Hurts: Finding Hope in Heartache. Cindy earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from Trinity University and a master’s degree in social work from Our Lady of the Lake University, and she lives with her husband, Darrell, and their children in Texas.
